Jammu, Nov 14: Model Academy under the project National Environment Awareness Campaign 2013- 2014, undertook a tree plantation drive on the theme "Biodiversity Conservation".
About 50 students along with Poonam Gupta Incharge, Eco Club went to Model Institute of Engineering & Technology (MIET) Kot Balwal, to plant seeds and saplings of different variety. Over 100 trees and plants were provided to the students for plantation purposes. Dr. Ankur Gupta Joint Director MIET, Prof. S.K. Sharma Principal, MIET, students & faculty members participated in the said drive. The students were made aware about how to make environment green and the ways and means of nurturing and raising plants. |
