| SBI's pre Lok Adalat postponed till Nov 19 | | |

Jammu, Nov 14: Expressing gratitude to borrowers / defaulters who appeared before the previous session of Pre-Lok Adalat court held on Nov 9 to settle their dues, State Bank of India (SBI) management today informed its customers that next date fixed for Pre-Lok adalat session has been postponed from Nov 15 (declared as Holiday) to Nov 19. According to spokesperson of bank a corrigendum to this effect has already been issued by the J&K High Court Legal Services Committee Jammu and accordingly, the District Court of Bank cases has also extended one more Pre-Lok adalat on Nov 18 for the benefit of those borrwers who could not avail this opportunity to settle their dues on Nov 9 session. "Now Bank informs its borrowers/defaulters to take note of the same & make it convenient to attend the Pre-Lok Adalat sessions on both the dates i.e. Nov 18 scheduled at Distt Bank Court Jammu and Nov 19 scheduled at High Court J&K Jammu, spokesperson added.
The Bank also extend their services to their defaulters/borrowers & request them to approach the Bank in anticipation for settlement on any day between 10.00 a.m to 6.00 p.m to settle their dues, he said further adding, "bank has also launched a nationwide Special One Time Settlement Scheme for the Non Performing Assets (NPA) /defaulters whose outstanding in such NPA a/cs as on 30.09.2013 should not be more than Rs.1.00 lakh (terms & conditions apply) to be settled in National Lok Adalat on Nov 23. . |
