| J&K RBA Forum launches signature campaign | | | Early Times Reports poonch, Nov 15: J&K RBA Forum today launched a signature campaign to press the government for their long pending demands for welfare of backward area people of the state. President J&K RBA Forum, Zakir Malik Bhallesi said the campaign started from Sailan village of Surankote area of Poonch in which 700 people put their signatures in support of the demands on the very first day. He said that there are total 29 demands out of which 6 demands were priorities and campaign was launched in their support. He said the campaign received overwhelming response from the area as people were already communicated about the venue of campaign. Zakir Malik Bhallesi said that this campaign will be taken to all parts of the state and they have target atleast 1 lakh signatures after that these will be handed over to government through Governor of Jammu and Kashmir State. He said that it is unfortunate that there is no comprehensive policy for making these areas forward and providing these people all facilities which help them to move forward. He said that in J&K state there are 32 percent people living in areas notified by the government as backward under SRO 294. |
