Enthusiastic response to 'Modi's rally' clear mandate of people to party: Gupta

Rajouri, Dec 7: Responding to enthusiastic response to the Modi's Lalkaar rally, Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) State Vice President Advocate Vibodh Gupta today said that presence of lakhs of people in Narender Modi's Lalkar rally recently is example for eye opener to see pro-BJP wave of the people in Jammu & Kashmir. Meantime he also claimed to get both Parliamentary seats from Jammu region in party's kitty.
Addressing new faces of majority community youth who joined the party here at Shahdara Sharief Rajouri, Advocate Vibodh Gupta said that lakhs of people participated in BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate's Lalkaar rally on Dec 1, which is clear mandate by the people and faith of the people of Jammu & Kashmir exuded upon Narender Modi. Claiming to form government, Gupta said that although both the Jammu seats of Parliament will go into the lap of BJP, the party has also reached to the position of forming state government. He also said that BJP's stand on Article 370 is very clear and they want nothing less than abrogation of this act.
He said that those who are talking about diluting party's stand BJP leader said the stand of party's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi is clear that this article is against the gender equality which has pushed the J&K into poverty and backwardness. He said panchayats are powerless and toothless while various wa=eaker section of society are deprived from reservation rights courtesy this controversial article.
Gupta asked Chief minister what steps he has initiated to strengthen the values of nationalism in the State even the National Anthem is not sung in Government institutions in the State.
On the occasion, District President BJP Bharat Bhushan Vaid, Ranjeet Tara ,Zahid Ahmed, Balbir Sharma also spoke and welcomed the joining of members of majority community in the party.
