KPs express concern, demand action against miscreants
Influential sabotaging affairs of Durganag trust

Jammu, Dec 8: Jammu and Kashmir Minority Forum, through a press statement, issued here today alleged that some influential are sabotaging the affairs of Durganag trust by the use of muscle power.
The press statement said that some vested interest persons have brought some musclemen from Jammu to disrupt in the affairs of the 'Durganag' shrine in order to meet the nefarious designs through one or other way.
According to the press statement, these mischievous elements have also started tempting the vested interest employee of the trust to meet their personal interests and concealing their earlier misdeeds revitalized their mischievous activities by not only creating unrest among employees but also by imposing certain influential persons as the new managers of the place of the place in most brazen and bizarre manner locking the office in an unauthorized way and also appropriating cash realizations in the form of room rent of the yatri bhawan for unaccounted expenditures.
The press note also said that all this is done under the garb of an interim order passed by the High Court, Jammu and Kashmir in September this year.
The trust through note appeals to the community brothers and their organizations so that every endeavour is made to recall significance of this prestigious shrine shrine of the Pundits with very high heritage value. officer took serious interest in bringing the new electrifying LED illumination for the temple. The experts specially brought here from Amritsar to put on these special LED illuminations did their best to complete the job in four days. First time in the history of J&K, a religious place has been illuminated on such a mega scale.
Some people say that before the exodus of the Kashmiri Pandits from Kashmir in 1990, the color had turned completely black. It is also said that there were 360 springs surrounding the main spring but all of these seem to have disappeared as the land has become marshy all around. In the last half century the pilgrimage has become the most important for Kashmiri Brahmans who come here from all over the State and even from outside. Khir Bhawani is considered to be the Presiding Deity of most of the Kashmiri Brahmans and the new LED illumination has given the temple a mesmerizing look.
