DIG BSF dismisses border intrusion report by state police as false

Kathua/Hiranagar, Dec 7: Varindera Singh DIG BSF of Kathua Samba range llabelled the state police information regarding intrusion of four persons from Pakistan through Hiranagar border as false while addressing a meeting conference in Hiranagar today..
DIG BSF Kathua Samba range Varindera Singh along with press media toured the border area of Pharpur sector where three spots Tarna Nulla, Shaap Nalla and Bobya border of Hiranagar were physically inspected and checked.
While he was briefing the media persons the officer said BSF the border area of tehsil Hiranagar has no scope to be breached because of the high-tech border guarding by the BSF.
Number of gadgets and equipments are being installed and constant vigil is being kept by the BSF personnel over the border line to check the infiltration and to foil any bid of intrusion from Pakistan side into India.
He appealed both public and media men not fall prey to the rumours and maintain peace and tranquility along the border.
