| Burglary case worked out, 2 minors held with stolen items | | | Udhampur: Udhampur Police today claimed to have worked out a burglary case, arrested two minor thieves and recovered stolen items.
Poice spokesman said that on December 12, based on a written complaint by one Ganesh Dass of Bilaspur, Tehsil Majalta, District Udhampur, an FIR No. 61/2013 under sections 457 and 380 of RPC was registered in Police Station Majalata in connection with commission of theft by some unknown accused persons in his mobile phone/electrical shop in village Bhardai tehsil Majalta.
Spokesman further said that party of Police Station Majalta led by SHO Majalata started the investigation of the case. During the course of investigation, police party zeroed two minors, who happened to be minors, were subjected to thorough questioning.
During the course of thorough questioning, the suspects broke out and confessed to the commission of burglary. On the disclosure of these suspects, party recovered 07 stolen mobile phones, 01 digital camera, 21 batteries of mobiles phones and other accessories of mobile phones besides equipments/tools used to break open the shop. He further said that party is also working on the involvement of these accused persons in some other burglary cases. Further investigation of the case is going on. |
