2 absconders held 12/22/2013 9:53:26 PM Udhampur: Udhampur Police today arrested two absconders who were wanted in different cases. Police spokesman said that based on a specific information regarding presence of one absconder namely Rattan Chand of Ladda, Pancheri area, who was wanted in a case under FIR No. 09/2006 under sections 457 and 511of RPC in Police Station Pancheri, a Police party led by SHO Police Station Pancheri conducted raid in the suspected area and arrested the absconder. He was evading his arrest since year 2006 in the above mentioned FIR. The said absconder is being produced in the Court of law for further court proceedings. Meanwhile, police also arrested an absconder who was evading his arrest since year 2009. Police identified the absconder as Balbir Singh of Ward No. 4, Simbal Camp.
