| DC Kishtwar suspends BMO Dachhan, terminates services of doctor | | | ET Report
Kishtwar, Dec 22: Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Baseer Ahmed Khan today placed Block Medical Officer (BMO) Dachhan Dr. Mehboob Khan for unauthorized absence from duty, beside ordering the termination of Dr. Bilal Ahmed posted at Community Health Centre Afti under National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) also for remaining absent from his duty. Deputy Commissioner action against BMO Dachhan and NRHM doctor posted at Afti came in wake of the aftermath of the death of 10 persons in a tragic accident in Warwan on Saturday evening followed by the protest held by the people of Warwan against non availability of doctors and absent of key officers from the area.
DC Kishtwar also directed the team of Doctor at Marwah to rush to Afti village to take care of injured person at CHC Afti. As per the official sources, DC Kishtwar has also seek the details of key employees who are posted in Marwah and Warwan, but are either absent from their duty or stationed at District Headquarter unauthorizedly.
The sources added that DC Kishtwar will take a stringent action against those employees posted at Marwah and Warwan, but avoid to attend their duties assigned to them by the government. |
