Jammu, Dec 22: Waris Gill Advocate, President Jammu & Kashmir Christian Association (J&K CA) in a meeting appealed Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for making special arrangements on the festival of X-mass in the state of Jammu & Kashmir. Waris Gill in his appeal has requested the Chief Minister to make some arrangements for the Cleaning and liming of all the Churches and Christian colonies of Jammu, Repairs of Lane & Drains of Christian Colony, Replacement of old bulbs with new ones, Regular supply of water and electricity, Exchange of currency note by J&K Bank at Residency Road and Garrison Church Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, Ambulance at Residency Road, St. Paul Church and Garrison Church Gandhi Nagar, Jammu. The leader also appealed Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for making arrangements for the peaceful procession to be taken out on December 21 in old city Jammu, All communities X-Mass celebration on December 23, X-Mass Celebration with Orphans, destitute and cripples at Mother Teresa Ashram on December 24. It was also said through the press statement that all Churches of Jammu shall remain open on December 25 for payers and the community has wished all citizens on the festival. |
