Jammu, Dec 22: The Jammu and Kashmir Batwal Welfare Association in a meeting held at its headquarter in Shahzadpur today, which was attended by a huge strength of Batwal community members launched a Help Line for the general amelioration of Batwal community people hailing in different parts of the country, who often come here in the State of Jammu and Kashmir and need help in emergency and even otherwise. Association said that the Help Line will facilitate and coordinate with the pre-listed people / organizations / institutions / services. For example: if a Batwal family from Rajasthan is traveling to Katra for performing darshan of Mata Vaishno Devi and faces a medical emergency, then the Help Line will contact the pre-listed doctor and guide the family to him The Help Line will ensure that the family is not cheated. If it has no emergency, but it wishes to do darshan with some reliable and credible person as the area is unknown to it, then the Help Line will facilitate a car hiring from the pre-listed tour operators. Of course, the family pays for the car / hotel / puja etc. but the Help Line will facilitate all this if it asks for, as a reliable brother of it. Help Line office and management will ensure the reliability, credibility and quality of the service, the Association added. At the outset, the Association hailed the inclusion of Association General Secretary RL Kaith's Article titled 'History of Batwal Community People' (appeared in various newspapers) in Batwal Hindu of India Ethnic People Profile of Joshua Project (Ministry of the U.S. Centre for World Mission) that can be viewed on net. Later, the Association expanded its Executive Body by including into it some new faces who included Capt. Kamal Dass Kaith, Capt. Puran Chand Kaith, Sub. Hans Raj Kaith, Panch Yog Raj Bassae and Gurdas Chand Sargotra. Prominent among others present in the meeting included Capt. Kamal Chand Motan, Capt. Ram Lal Sargotra, Sub. Maj. Gunni Ram Kaith, Sub. Baldev Chand Sandhu, Naib-Sarpanch Som Nath Dhagga, Des Raj Kaith, Mohan Lal Motan, Ram Dass Kaith, Piara Lal Lakhotra, Dass Ram Dhagga, Chaman Lal Kaith, Nand Lal Lakhotra, Ashok Kumar Motan, Pritam Chand Kaith and Raj Kumar Kaith. |
