Poonch, Dec 22 : In order to take stock of post-snowfall situation in Poonch Assembly Constituency, Member Legislative Assembly Ajaz Ahmed Jan has constituted a team of doctors, PHE, PWD, PDD and CAPD officials and hold extensive tour in far flung areas of Mandi Block Sawijan and Loran areas to provide on spot help to the needy people.
Headed by MLA Ajaz Jan, the team comprising Tehsildar Mandi, Tehsildar Poonch, Block Medical Officer Mandi, Block Development Officer, Assistant Executive Engineer R&B, Assistant Executive Engineer PHE, Assistant Executive Engineer PDD and officials of CAPD took stock of post snowfall situations.
During the tour, as per the release, the team provided on spot help to the thousands of people who are affected due to the incessant snowfall.
The team of doctors checked the patients in far-flung areas and also provides the needy people free medicines.
Thanking Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Jan said that CM had already directed the CAPD department to manage ration supply all the far flung areas before snowfall.
Meanwhile residents of far-flung areas of Loran, Sawijan and Mandi where the MLA visited have expressed satisfaction over the arrangements made by the MLA and administration for them. |
