JAMMU, Dec 22: Little Angels Public School, Vijaypur celebrated its annual day in the school premises with enthusiasm and great fervour. Deputy Commissioner, R K Varma Samba was the chief guest while Chief Education Officer Samba, Surinder Mohan Mahajan and ARTO Samba Pawan Sharma were the guests of honour. Almost all the parents and prominent educationists of the area attended the function. The programme started with the flag hoisting ceremony followed by march past and PT. The cultural programme includes Welcome song, Dogri, English, Punjabi, Patriotic action song and skit on 'Education to the girl child'. Speaking on the occasion, principal of the school, Rajan Gupta gave a detailed account of the activities of the school. He stressed on shaping the future of the children in such a way that they would be able to compete challenges of dynamic world over boldly. Chief Guest lauded the students for presenting a colourful cultural programme and said that children being future citizens of our nation must be made physically strong, morally up right and intellectually good. |
