Hirangar, Dec 30: NSS unit of Government GLDM Degree College Hiranagar today celebrated valedictory function of NSS, in its seven days special camp in the college campus.
During the camp different activities like Nukad Natak on social evils, socio-economic survey, fancy dress competition among the children of the village and lecture on Civil Defense, health awareness campaign, role of banking in up gradation of society were organised to inculcate the idea of social service and national integration among volunteers and villagers.
Principal of the Kartar Chand was the chief guest on the occasion, who congratulated the NSS volunteers for organizing the event.
NSS Programe officer Prof Rachna also appreciated the role of NSS volunteers. Almost 80 NSS volunteers took part in the week long programme. |
