All Khidmat centre holders taken into the project were highly and suitably qualified including post graduates, MBA's, MCA's and graduates. Electricity bill collection service would be made available at our branded centers under NeGP scheme which we render to citizens especially in rural areas.
He further said that we were running into a business loss and we were not able to pay our rents and dues in which we made representations to Omar Abdullah last year to frame a core committee but the said committee recommended a monthly stipend of Rs. 7500 each VLE. The recommendations approved formal government order was issued vide no.46 ITD, dated on Dec 14, 2011.
"Now, khidmat center holders across Jammu and Kashmir have finally decided to start state level indefinite protest at Jammu against the government for failing to implement NeGP properly" said association president.
He urged Omar Abdullah that the transfer of electricity bill collection and disbursement of GAP support with retrospective effect as promised by government already should be done without any further delay, failing to do so the protest would intensify and whole responsibility would be over state government.
