1/7/2014 10:16:32 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 7: Criticizing the notification regarding backward area, People Revolutionary Movement (PRM) slammed the government against alleged continuous suppressive, oppressive, discriminatory and dictatorial policies of state government which could be overcome only by "Political Empowerment of Jammu".
According to press release, in a meeting PRM members expressed serious concern over alleged criminal silence of Jammu based political representative including those in the cabinet and outside as well who rather than representing the voice, aspirations and concern of their people had been a mute spectators and going more as facilitators cause of Kashmiris than of their own people.
"It is not only unfortunate but disturbing to note that how the committee recommended few villages that too from just 2 constituencies of Doda and Ramban district represented by Congress Minsters and another 2 villages from another Congress Ministers leaving monstrous vast, fragile and un-accessible tough train of Jammu as untouched compared to that of forward and developed Kashmir from where double than those of Jammu villages has been shown as backward, were approved by the cabinet, is an alarming signal and needs serious discussion", opined PRM leaders.
PRM, while making strong pitch for its demand for "Political Empowerment of Jammu" said that solution to all ills, miseries or any sort of grievance be that of any group, class or ideology, lies only and only with political empowerment of Jammu and exhorted the Jammuites to come forward, unite themselves for the larger cause of Jammu keeping in view its historical, natural, and distinct rich and glorious ideology.
