| Govt mocking educated youth through mega phonic schemes: Dr Darakhshan | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 7: Highlighting the demands and problems being faced by the youth in state, the Socialistic Democratic Party (SDP) today joined a protest rally of the educated unemployed youth of the state who have been engaged by the state government for operating the Khidmat Centers established by the government through J&K Bank. President Dr Darakhshan Andrabi who the led the protest of the educated unemployed youth of the state engaged by Khidmat Centers said that the government had made mega phonic announcements that these centers will be made the basis for establishing the e-governance network in the state. "State government established these centers by spending crores of rupees to befool the educated youth but it seems despite wasting a lot to establish infrastructure the state government has mocked with the future of the educated unemployed youth by making these centers defunct," said Dr Darakhshan Andrabi. Dr Andrabi said that government's intentions were not clear from the very beginning and this failure of the whole project was intentional and educated youth are being taken on ride. SDP President asked the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to come out with the government policy in this regard soon or the youth will be forced to come top streets. She also said that the government should take quick steps to address to the problems of the aggrieved youth. Dr Andrabi was accompanied with SDP's Parliamentary seat nominee for Jammu-Poonch seat Sardar Gursagar Singh. |
