2 drug peddlers held with 3 kg charas 1/20/2014 11:24:11 PM Et Report Jammu, Jan 20 : Nowabad police today arrested two drug peddlers and recovered over 3 kg charas from their possession. Police identified the arrested as Abdul Gani Butt of Qazikund, Anantnag and Rakesh Giri of Uttar Pradesh presently at Jib Thathi Udhampur. SSP Jammu Atul Goel said that that on specific information police party led by SHO Nowabad Jaipal Sharma under the supervision of SDPO West Shri Ram raised a naka near Saint Peter School and intercepted two persons. "During frisking, team recovered around 3 kg and 500 grams charas from the possession of duo", said sources adding that a case under FIR 11/14 under section 8/20/21 NDPS act has been registered at Nowabad police station and further investigation is on", said Goel.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
