Kishtwar, Jan 20: Alleging Kishtwar Development Authority (KDA) for its failure to perform, the Congress leader and former District President Youth Congress Kishtwar Sheikh Nasir Hussain Advocate today said that the KDA has utterly failed to explore "Tourism potential of Kishtwar. In a statement issued to press, Congress leader has said that KDA was created with the objective to explore and develop the tourism potential of the area but the authority has utterly failed to explore the tourism potential of the district. "There is lot of scope of adventure and pilgrimage tourism but the KDA has totally failed to explore the same and there is no ground development of the same, he said, adding, "not a single festival or any adventure camp has been organized by KDA till date. He also criticized the Kishtwar Development Authority (KDA) for its failure to boost the tourism and creation of the amenities in the area for the tourists. Sheikh Nasir alleged that due to lack of vision, they have failed to boost the tourism of the area including picturesque Sinthon, Warwan, and other places are yet are neglected at tourism map. He appealed to Minister for Tourism Ghulam Ahmad Mir to intervene into the matter. |
