HC stays promotion of PDD's Sr. Scale Stenographer 1/21/2014 12:00:01 AM Et Report Jammu, Jan 20: The High Court today stayed promotion of a senior scale stenographer of the PDD. In a petition filed by Kavita Gupta and Pawan Kumar who are aggrieved of their exclusion from revised seniority list of Junior Scale Stenographer of PDD as they have been promoted earlier and those ranking junior to them found placement in impugned revised seniority list. Justice Bansi Lal Bhat of J&K High Court Jammu Wing issued notice to Commissioner/Secretary PDD, Development Commissioner PDD, Chief Engineer PDD and seven private respondents returnable within four weeks and after hearing Adv Abhinav Sharma appearing for the petitioner ordered that till next date before the Bench and subject to filling of objections from other side impugned seniority list vide circular bearing No DC/PD/II/DPC/06/1279-1378 qua seven private respondent for the purpose of promotion of the post of Senior Scale Stenographers shall remain stayed.
