| Bail denied accused in attempt to rape with 3 yrs old | | |

Jammu, Jan22 (JNF) : Chief Judicial Magistrate Jammu S C Katal has rejected the bail application of one Sourab Singh who was arrested by the police in attempt to rape with a minor girl of three years old.
After hearing CPO Sanjay Kohli for the state, CJM SC Katal observed that observed that offence under investigation is against the society at large and grave in nature, the character and antecedents of the accused are yet to be ascertained in this case and the apprehension that the accused will threat the complainant and her witnesses cannot be rules out. Court also observed that the allegations against accused person have direction impact upon the social security of the people and thus dismissed the bail application.
According to the case that complainant mother of the victim lodged a written report she saw that her minor female child age not at home and started enquiry from the neighbourers but could not find the child, she then went to the house of accused and knock the door, the door was closed from inside and she saw that accused had taken her daughter in his bedding and tried to rape with her. On this complaint police registered a case and arrested the accused on January 13. |
