| NGO alleges violation of Government rules, regulations by P/O DSW | | | ET Report
Rajouri, Jan 22: A Rajouri based Non Government Organization (NGO) has leveled allegation of blatant violation of government recruitment rules and regulations against Director Social Welfare, Project Officers and senior assistant in adjusting their kin in the department. In this matter Amir Mir Social Justice NGO and RTI activist has approached the JK government Grievance Cell (complaint No 46135 dt 20/1/14) to investigate the matter and take action against the erring officers. Amir Mir has alleged that most of the candidates selected in Rajouri and Poonch districts either belong to one category or some of them are kin of some of the officials of the Social Welfare Department, Rajouri. Among the selected candidates for these posts are daughter and niece of Director Social Welfare, daughter of sister-in-law of Project Officer MS Chouhan, daughter of Noor Hussain senior assistant, brother of driver of Project Officer etc. NGO has alleged that the Director Social Welfare MS Bhati is getting retired in the end of this month and to adjust his kin along with other's the selection of the candidates was made in hasty manner. "To adjust their blue eye persons and their kin the senior assistant Noor Hussain was called from Budhal to collect the applications and on the eve of conducting the interviews the applications of some of the deserving candidates were rejected on the pretext that theses were incomplete," NGO members alleged . At Poonch some candidates including Asima Mir has alleged that the SWD officials had adopted unfair means to adjust their favorites including those on monetarily considerations. Another members of Social Justice NGO, Shieraz Inqulabi has alleged that the same method was adopted by these officials in short listing the name of the candidates for the posts of 4th class employees. |
