Jammu, Jan 22 : Jammu State Morcha (JSM) has decided to reactivate Statehood Movement and hold public Rallies and Seminar and Conferences to awaken the people of Jammu province about the discrimination and injustice inflicted on them by the Kashmiri leaders since the accession of J&K State with India and other issues concerning the day to day life. According to press release, it was decided to revamp the JSM, involving students, youth and intellectuals in the functioning of the Morcha.
"It is also planned to create the general opinion of leaders of various national political parties and the people in general in favour of trifurcation of J&K state and creation of separate states for Jammu, Ladakh and Kashmir regions", the spokesman said, adding that the Morcha shall publish the literature, approach the leaders of national political parties, take the help of print and electronic media as well as social media. The Morcha has created its Blog and shortly going to have its website. The Morcha also decided to create a Special Cell which shall collect the information/data on Corruption related issues, on the discriminatory treatment with people of Jammu region and on day to day grievances of the people. The Cell shall operate from Subham Hotel, Sunder Singh Gurudwara Road, Jammu.
