| Middle aged among two receive burn injuries | | | ET Report
Jammu, Jan 22: Two persons including a middle aged person reportedly received burn injuries in separate incidents at different places here today in Jammu region, police sources said. According to police sources, a middle person (50) identified as Chain Singh son of Chattar Singh of Udhampur presently at Reasi received burn injuries after his clothes caught flames when a burning candle accidently falls on him. He was shifted to nearby hospital fromwhere he was referred to Government Medial College and Hospital (GMC&H) for further medical treatment. Police said that Chain Singh received around 28 percent burns and is responding to the treatment when last reports came in. Meanwhile, a married woman hailing from Uttrakhand received 22 percent burns under mysterious circumstances at her rented house in Udhampur. "Identified as Reshma Rawat (33) wife of Mukesh Rawat of Chhattisgarh presently at Udhampur was referred to GMC&H for mediacre from Udhampur after she receives burn injuries, police sources said. Police have registered cases in both incidents and investigations are on. |
