Jammu, Jan 22: A 50 year-old man was found dead under mysterious circumstances along road side at Majeen in Jajjhar Kotli, police sources said. "The deceased has been identified as Karnail Singh (58) of Korga, they added. "Some passersby noticed a man lying unconscious along the road side and after getting the information police reached the spot and shifted him to nearby hospital where he was declared as brought dead, police sources said.
Later, the body was shifted to the mortuary of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) for autopsy. After legal formalities, the body would be handed over to family members for last rites. A case in this connection has been registered and further investigation is on in this regard. |
