Kathua, Feb 28: Demanding bifurcation of district Kathua and formation of "Hill district" by comprising Billawar, Basohli and Bani and to provide tehsil status to block Budhi, the convener for "Three- B Hill District Movement" Hurmat Singh and the spokesperson for the movement Sanjeev Verma urged the state government to address the demand. While appreciating Omar Abdullha and his government for making a history by creating the new administrative units across state, Hurmat Singh held the link with newly formed tehsil "Dinga Amb" of the several panchayats of Kandi area like Juthana, Dhani, Forlaine, and several others irrational and irrelevant and demanded that Budhi block should be upgraded as tehsil with which all the said panchayats are ready to link. The leaders of "Three- B Hill District Movement" Hurmat Singh and Sanjeev Verma also pointed out the sufferings of a big population of the far-off areas of Billawar, Bani and Basohli and said that these were because of no proper reach of the administrative look after. They said to root out the problems and miseries of these far off areas of Billawar, Basohali and Bani, the formation of a Three-B Hill district comprising Billawar, Bani and Basohali was only the permanent and authentic option and for this the government should leave this genuine and ration solution in a file of delay. |
