| `Kejriwal using Farooq Abdullah's profile to gain some popularity' | | Kamaal sees agency hand' behind AAP interest in JK | | Javaid Naikoo SRINAGAR, Feb 28: National Conference additional general secretary, Dr Mustafa Kamaal has said that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) interest in Kashmir was yet `another attempt by the agencies to defame National Conference and Dr Farooq Abdullah." As AAP Kashmir candidate Dr Raja Muzafar who while talking to early times minutes after his name appeared in AAP's second list of Lok Sabha candidates yesterday said that Arvind Kejriwal has promised him to visit Jammu and Kashmir next month to campaign against Dr Farooq Abdullah and announce election manifesto of AAP formally from Srinagar. Kamaal today said that visit of Arvind Kejriwal to Kashmir and campaigning only against Dr Farooq Abdullah is an age old tactic of agencies to topple NC and defame its leaders. He said that since 1953 agencies are on toes to topple NC and weave baseless allegations against its leaders like Farooq Abdullah. "All such efforts have failed. Arvind Kejriwal will also fail and will return to his homeland after tasting defeat in Kashmir. He is very smartly using Farooq Abdullah's name to gain some popularity in Kashmir, but the way NC defeats all its rivals in, AAP candidate will also be defeated with a big margin," he added. He said farooq had nothing to worry about as the AAP candidate was only a kid." Listing Farooq Abdullah among the corrupt politicians of India is nothing more than a political gimmick of Arvind Kejriwal," he said. While referring to an interview of Arvind Kejriwal with a national TV channel, Mustafa Kamaal said the interview reflected his frustration. Pertinently Kejiriwal recently not only announced that AAP is committed to abolish the dynasty rule system in Jammu and Kashmir also like other states of India but also listed Farooq Abdullah among the corrupt politicians of India at number 24 in the list issued for public awareness. He also said that AAP will stop people like Farooq Abdullah from entering in to parliament in future. |
