Jammu, Feb 28: NSS unit of Sacred Heart College of education (SHCE) today concluded 15 days long camp on Literacy mission.
According to press release, program officer Professor Sheetal Khajuria said that about 50 NSS volunteers and NSS members Professor Shalini Mahajan, Professor Neha Sharma, Professor Kiran Manhas, Professor Jyoti Sharma and Professor Raj Bakshi was participated during the camp.
"Around 100 illiterates benefitted from this campaign NSS volunteers worked dedicatedly in the campaign. People from the adjoining area appreciated the efforts of volunteers" said Khajuria.
Principal Dr. KK Tiwari appreciating the efforts of students and said we will organize these types of camp time to time in the adjoining area. So that so many people will get benefit from these types of camps.
MD Hari Singh Chib stressed the motto of National Service Scheme, "Not me but you" and appreciating the efforts of volunteers. It should be the main objective of volunteers to demonstrate this motto in their day to day activities of camp.
