| HC directs petitioner to join as Joint director within 2 days | | Transfer of Joint Director YSS | | Et Report
Jammu, Feb 28 : In a petition filed by Madan Lal presently Deputy Director challenging the Govt order dated January 31, 2014 by which the petitioner has been transferred and posted as Incharge Joint Director Youth Services & Sports Department is against available vacancy, Justice Mohammad Yaqoob Mir of J&K High Court Jammu Wing after hearing Adv Sudershan Sharma appearing for the petitioner whereas AAG Ravinder Sharma appearing for the state observed that Additional Advocate General made it clear that Joint Director (Adm) and Joint Director Kashmir are one and the same post and promotional avenues are available equally to both and in any manner rank of the petitioner is not reduced (as stated by the petitioner). He continues to be Incharge Joint Director. Court further observed that challenge thrown the order impugned dated January 31, 2014 is misconceived and the interest of the petitioner is fully protected, therefore, this petition does not deserve any further consideration and disposed of the petition with direction to the petitioner that he shall be allowed to join at the place of his transfer within two days.
