Kishtwar, Feb 28 : PDP activist led by former District President and now in charge Kishtwar constituency Farooq Siddiqui today protested against government over poor basic amenities to the poor people of the state. Agitating activists tried to march towards DC office Kishtwar raising slogans against National Conference-Congress Government accusing them of failure to provide basic amenities to the people of Kishtwar District like water and electricity, beside raising slogans against NC leadership over discrimination in distributing the solar cookers got sanctioned from the ministry of New and Renewable Resources Energy among the NC workers. They alleged that people associated with PDP are being ignored. Later on, about 60 to 70 PDP activists were detained. |
