| Modi's speech worries Omar | | Wishes a long jog, fresh air | | Bivek Mathur JAMMU, Mar 26: Perturbed with Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi's high voltage speech with lots of aggressions against the National Conference-led government in state and Congress-led government at Centre, a visibly perturbd Chief Minister showed his frustration through a tweet. Twitter savvy Chief Minister in his last two tweets has admitted his frustration clearly writing-" (Anyway, time to go for a jog. Enough politics for the moment. Time to clear the head with some fresh air:)", and "The ease with which NaMo lied today about me flying over his rally in Jammu makes me wonder what else the man lies about in his speeches". Omar remained busy in social networking site twitter today till the time Gujrat Chief Minister was addressing a largely attended gathering of about 30,000 people in Hiranagar Tehsil's sports stadium with about 18,000 plus public inside the stadium and 12,000 plus supporters watching the star leader from outside the stadium. The moment Narendra Modi concluded his speech to leave for Delhi, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah twitted about his tiredness of politics and wished to clean his head with some fresh air which confirmed that he was largely frustrated with the crowd for the BJP leader. Omar's first tweet came after Modi started his speech at Hiranagar and took a jibe at Chief Minister Omar Abdullah saying, "his (Omar's) chopper might be flying over to have some pictures of the crowd like he did when I addressed similar rally in Jammu in December 2013". In reply to the BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate, Omar tweeted, "NaMo certainly plays fast & loose with the truth. He quotes me & can't even get that right. Modi Sb please quote me but do it right :-)". It was followed by volley of tweets by Chief Minister. Second tweet of Omar reads as- "And for those of you gloating that I'm watching the rally on TV sorry to disappoint you. Only know what he said because I was asked 4 reply". Third as-"Some still upset with the aerial photograph of earlier NaMo rally, hate the fact that their lies & exaggerations were exposed :-)) 1/2 ". Fourth tweet presented a more frustrated face of the Chief Minister over the crowd which seems evident from the tweet which reads as- "Poor chaps cover their angst with jokes & what pass for witticisms. Don't worry I won't add to your misery, claim any crowd size you like". Frustration goes on with every new tweet which one could gauge from the childish attitude of Chief Minister who started mentioning about debate over Article 370 which was not mentioned by the BJP leader in the speech with his tweet -"I bet NaMo didn't repeat his "let's discuss Art 370" dialogue here because we all know what happened to the earlier discussion offer :-)))". The Chief Minister then replied Narendra Modi about dynastic Badal father and son in Punjab and Thackareys in Maharashtra without naming anyone after Narendra Modi attacked NC leader of dynastic politics through another tweet-" I dare NaMo to make exactly the same speech against dynastic politics in Punjab or in Maharashtra. Come on, money where your mouth is". Finally, when CM found himself cornered by Modi fans on the social networking site too, he gives up and said that he is obsessed with the politics and wished to go for a jog which usually the Chief Minister did not mention on twitter. |
