| Polytechnic College Doda sans basic facilities including faculty: AISF | | | Early Times Report
Doda, Mar 26: Demanding the appointment of Principal for Govt Polytechnic College Doda, All India Students Federation (AISF) today said that it has become a headless institution for the last six months.
Alleging the only technical institute, has become useless, Mukesh Parihar, President AISF Doda region said that there is only a single instructor for two ongoing streams including Civil and Office Management &Computer Application (OMCA).Criticizing government and concerned technical education authorities, AISF leader said that the Govt is spoiling the future of poor students as the institute lacks all basic facilities and the faculty members as well. While warning the authorities at the helms of affair, AISF leader said either provide the permanent staff within seven days or face the agitation.
Pertinent to mention that Govt Polytechnic College Doda is working in a rented building at Khellani and even till the building of this college has not completed which is under construction at Doda. Incharge principal GPC Doda at Present Khellani in a meek defence said, "We have communicated to Director Technical Education J&K many times but we are waiting for an assertive response. "There were two instructors on contractural bases but they also left the college in January and since then there is a single Instructor for the whole College, he added. |
