Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 27: All Income Tax Offices in the state of Jammu & Kashmir shall remain opened on March 29- 31, as per normal working hours during holidays, official spokesperson said. Commissioner of Income Tax, J&K, Jammu, A K Thatai in a statement stated that the decision to keep the Income Tax Offices open in the state of Jammu & Kashmir, is aimed to facilitate the assesses to complete the pending assessment work, collection of taxes and to achieve budget targets fixed for Commissionerate of Income Tax, J&K for FY 2013-14." "As per order issued by Smt Mini Chandran (U) Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax (HQ), the office shall work as per normal working hours during holidays and all officers and staff have been directed to report accordingly, the official statement stated. "This order has been issued in view of Office Memorandum issued vide 402/46/2014-ITCC dated 20/03/2014 by the Central Board of Direct Taxes, New Delhi, it added.
