ADC Kishtwar flags off student tour for industrial visit

Kishtwar, Mar 25: A four day industrial tour comprises of 36 students of Kishtwar was today flagged off by Additional Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Mohammed Haneef Malik from Paramount Institute of Excellence Kishtwar in presence of galaxy of audience. During this four days programme, students of different Schools of Kishtwar will visit to Jammu to get first hand experience with regard ti functioning of various industrial units adding knowledge in students life.The progranme was arranged by Paramount Educational Society Kishtwar and is being organized by National Council for Urban & Rural Development Society, Jammu, a Non Govt. Non-profitable organization which is working in the field of education, S&T popularization through out the state. While giving the details of the Programme, Dr. Ashiq Hussain the Coordinator of the programne said that this programme is being supported and catalyzed by Vigyan Prasar, NCSTC and Department of Science and Technology Govt. Of India. He said the primary focus of the programme are the students with an aim to discuss "Science beyond classrooms" an idea to provide practical experience on science activities, by providing an opportunity to visit different Industries and Research Laboratories in and around Jammu so as to enhance their knowledge of science and technology. In his address ADC Kishtwar hails the efforts of Paramount Educational Society and said that this type of programs are not only helps the students to get information, but also give them exposure to the outer world. He stress for organising more and more programs like this in future. He also extended his best wishes to the touring students and advice them to share their experience with other students after returning from the tour.The tour is led by Riaz Ahmed Giri, Ramesh Kumar Thakur, Manzoor Ahmed Sirwal and Zubair Ahmad Matoo all lecturers from education department.
