Pre-Primary DPS celebrates annual day with zest, gusto

Jammu, Mar 26: Annual day function of Pre-Primary wing of Delhi Public School Jammu was held at Zorawar Singh Auditorium- Jammu University here today in which students alongwith their parents and faculty members participated with great enthusiasm.
Kuldeep Khoda IPS, Chief Vigilance Commissioner (CVC) J&K graced the occasion as chief guest and Dilbag Singh IPS, Additional Director General Police (ADGP) and Kiran Watal, Municipal Commissioner Jammu were as guests of honour.
Among other prominent present on the occasion include Ajatshatru Singh, President Rajput Charitable Trust J&K and Member Legislative Council J&K state, Ritu Singh, Pro-vice chairperson, Delhi Public School (DPS), Jammu their son and daughter Ranvijay Singh and Adhi Shree, S S Sodhi, Director, Delhi Public School Jammu and eminent citizens.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest Kuldeep Khoda appreciated school authorities and management above all the tiny tots who presented wonderful programme. Underlining the need of giving right directions to tender hearts, Khoda said that the young children are plain slate and need to be mould in right direction by the parents and their teachers. "So, it becomes primary responsibility of faculty members to put the tiny tots at the right path from the very young age, he added.
Earlier the annual day function commenced with lighting of the lamp by the chief guest and others, followed by Saraswati Vandana and a welcome song. Addl. Director/Principal of the school Dr (Mrs) D Joseph presented welcome address who highlighted the various achievements of the school in academics, sports and co-curricular activities particularly at National Level. The tiny tots presented a coulorful cultural programme which left audience enthralled. In the end, the vote of thanks was presented by M.K. Ajatshatru Singh. The programme concluded with the presentation of the mementoes to the Chief Guest, guests of honour President RCT, Pro-vice Chairperson, and other special invitees.
