| Seminar on adolescent rights organized | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 1: A social activist and a certified Life Skill Trainer and the founder Director of a start-up young way foundation Indarjit, who is on his cycle expedition to create awareness campaign on Adolescents rights, besides other related issues to women, today met students of Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET). He had interacted with more than 3,800 young students of different states at large via seminars and personal discussions. He found that most common problems of adolescence are due to failure of understanding the psychological changes. Adolescents, he said, b/w 10 to 19 years accounts for one-fifth of world's population and in India this age group forms around 23% of the total population. This age group is vulnerable and is carried away by ignorance of elders, misguiding parents, ill information of Friends and wrongful messages through Social network etc. Indrajit motivated the students, not to get carried away with negativities of this materialistic age & rather inspired them to overcome challenges of the modern age with lot of patience, maturity & courage respecting Indian ethos & high moral values to lift the overall development of the society. |
