Jammu, May 1: In continuation of Bhagwan Shri Parshuram Jayanti celebrations Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha(DBPS), Parade, Jammu today performed Murti Pooja of Bhagwan Shri Parshuram Ji Maharaj, Gaytri Mata and Mata Saraswati with vedic rituals.Besides, distinguished vedic scholars, many other persons and dignity participated in the Pooja. Dev Raj Sharma with his wife was conspicuous by becoming a Yajman. Ved Parkash Sharma, President, Verinder Mohan Magotra, Satya Paul Sharma, Nanak Chand Sharma, ML Sharma, alongwith celebration committee, Dr. Som Dutt Magotra, Satya Nand Sharma, Jagdish Dogra, President, Sanatam Dham Sabha, Jammu, Pt. Narinder Sharma Chief Organiser, Brahman Sabha Nowshera, Master Mukand Lal Sharma, Shiv Charan Dass, Bharat Bhushan Seth etc were present with function. Bhajan of Bhagwan Parshuram Ji were also presented by Sat Paul Raina.
The programme followed by Sabha in which large number of persons took parshad. The main function will be performed on 2nd May 2014 in which 200 desiring young boy will be ordained with Yagyopaveet according vedic rites.
