| Dadaa condoles Praduman's demise | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 2: Doordarshan Approved Drama Artists Association ( DADAA) condoles the untimely demise of Legendary Dogri Folk Singer and Poet Pradhuman Singh. The condolence meeting was held here today at Jammu where the DADAA president J.S.Babli and the executive body of DADAA prayed for the peace of the departed soul and expressed sympathy for the family . He said that his demise has created a big vacuum in the music world of Jammu. He recalled his contribution to the promotion of Dogri Music at the National/International level. It is pertinent to mention here that he was Asstt.Station Director Radio Kashmir Jammu and was the singer of famous Dogri Song " Mayu Mayu Kare Mere Billa Te Mere Dil Sadi o Gaya….. Besides singer of many other songs" and was the recipient of the Sahitya Academy Award and State Award.
Kamal Sharma, Susham Sharma, Madan Rangila, Sandeshvir, Janak Khujuria, Utam Singh Utam, Rattan Doshi, Harbans Sharma and R. Vijay Magotra were also presents in the meeting |
