Jammu, May 2: Condemning the remarks of Yog Guru Ramdev saying 'alleged honeymoon of Rahul Gandhi with Dalits in his constituency once in blue moon during elections,' the Jammu and Kashmir Batwal Welfare Association urged National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC), Government of India,to take action under law of land against the Yog Guru.
In specially convened general body meeting called today under the chairmanship of Capt (Retd) Kamal Dass Kaith in which participating community members expressed their concernes over afore said remarks of Yog Guru and termed it as against the dignity and honour of dalits. The members in this meeting urged the National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC), Government of India, New Delhi to take cognizance of the matter.Among those present in the meeting included R L Kaith, Mela Ram Tugga, Ram Dass Kaith, Piara Lal Lakhotra, Des Raj Kaith, Gian Chand Sandhu, Madan Raj Kaith, Raj Singh Nandan, Naresh Kumar Kaith, Thoru Ram Mandi, and many others. |
