| BSP, DBA extend support to JKHCBA | | | Early Times Report JAMMU/LEH, May 2: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) today announced its unconditional support to the ongoing agitation of Jammu & Kashmir High Court Bar Association (JKHCBA). The decision to extend support to lawyers' agitation was taken in a meeting of BSP held here today under the chairmanship of its state president Tulsi Dass Langeh. The meeting unanimously resolved to support the stir of Bar Association, Jammu and urged upon the police higher-ups viz a viz Divisional Commissioner, Jammu to end the impasse with an amicable solution of the issue. Meanwhile, the District Bar Association (DBA) Leh under the chairmanship of its president Gonbo Stobgail Advocate convened a meeting today to discuss the Jammu lawyers' agitation. The DBA Leh has extended its full support to JKHBA Jammu and decided to observed two days strike i.e on 2nd and 3rd of May 2014. After meeting got over, the lawyers immediately left the court premises in support of JKHCBA strike. The president demanded an immediate action against the erring police officer. The lawyers observed complete band and work suspended throughout the day. Only few persons were seeing in the court premises. The bandh was peaceful and complete success in Leh. |
