JAMMU, May 3 : Condemning Nawakadal killing, Indian Peoples' Party (IPP) today termed the Nawakadal killing as an act of cold-blooded murder and extreme human-rights violation,. In a statement issued here today, IPP President Aqib Shah, while condemning the killing of Bashir Bhat of Nawakadal, blamed the state government and separatist elements for indirectly inflicting this to the state. Shah said that the State Human Rights Commission has termed it as an "extra judicial execution" which indeed raises doubts about the credibility of the government at the helm. He also questioned the self-proclaimed nationalist BJP for over-looking this issue and not coming up clear on this crystal clear violation of human rights. IPP leader also urged the leadership and masses of Jammu to come up in solidarity against this act of violence. |
