Jammu, May 3 : Residents of Kundra, Bhabber, Kanjli, Dera and adjoining area of these villages held a condolence meeting under the chairmanship of Abdul Qadir- Dogri poet to condole the sad demise of Sahitya Akademi Awardee and legendary Dogri folk singer and poet Pradhuman Singh Jandrahia, here today.
Speaking on the occasion Bodh Raj, Sarpanch of Halqa Panchayat Bhabber Brahmana said that the Dogra culture has lost a noble soul which shall remain in the hearts of people for the years to come. The members also observed two minutes silence and offered prayer to almighty to grant peace to departed soul. The members also expressed sympathy with the bereaved family members and prayed to give them courage to bear the irreparable loss. |
