Jammu/ Srinagar May 3: The much awaited All India common entrance examination JEE (Mains) today declares result online on the official website of CBSE. A total of 13.57 lakh aspirants had registered for JEE (Mains) 2014. The JEE (Mains) scores will be used for admission to undergraduate engineering and architecture courses at the National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), other centrally funded technical institutions and institutions under participating state governments. Sharing his thoughts on this matter, an ace educationist and Chairman of one of the leading Engineering College of North India- Aryans Group of Colleges, Dr Anshu Kataria said, "It is very overwhelming to see the increase in the number of aspirants appearing for JEE every year. I hope for a very bright future to all the students". Kataria added that only candidates securing the top 1.5 lakh ranks would be eligible to apply for the JEE Advanced 2014 exam for admission to the IITs. |
