Jammu, May 3: Government Middle School, Khearian, Block-Marh, Jammu organized workshop to generate awareness among the general masses about ill effects of Tobacco and allied products the other day. The ZEO, Marh, Sham Lal was the chief Guest on the occasion. The students of the school presented skits and colourful bonanza of cultural items highlighting the adverse effects of the drugs, alcohol and tobacco on the human being. They gave message to the society especially the younger generation to keep away from drug addiction.
Later while addressing the students ZEO, Marh, Sham Lal, Incharge Head Master, TeacherGanesh Datt Sharma, and Sarpanch Trilokpur, Raj Kumar appreciated the efforts of the children for organizing such attractive cultural programme to create awareness among the young generation about the ill effects of tobacco.
Chief Guest also underlined that it is the duty of every citizen to work for eradicating the bad evil from the society. |
