| DEO convenes meeting of Sectoral Magistrates, Micro Observers at Bandipora | | | Bandipora, May 3: In connection with smooth conduct of Lok Sabha Elections-2014 in Bandipora district which is a part of 01-Baramulla Parliamentary Constituency, a meeting of sectoral magistrates and Micro Observers was held under the chairmanship of District Election Officer, Bandipora here today.
The DEO directed the officers to ensure free fair and impartial Lok Sabha Elections in the district and ensure strict adherence to the guidelines of Election Commission of India in letter and spirit.
He asked them to remain in liaison with the AROs and with control room set up in the district in case of need. The meeting was informed that adequate security and transport arrangements have been put in place for smooth conduct of elections in the district. As many as 2, 11,967 electors will exercise their franchisee on May 07, 2014. |
