Jammu, May 3 : A bus bearing registered No JK 02 BB 4513 carrying about 30 passengers from Jammu to Poonch fell into a gorge at Dharati in Krishna Ghati, today at around 4. 30PM. The mishap resulted in injury to 18 passengers and out of which 3 were critically injured.
The rescue party of the Rashtriya Rifles Battalion and the Territorial Army Battalion (TA) from nearby post of Romeo Force immediately reached the accident site and evacuated the victims. The critically injured passengers were directly evacuated to the Civil Hospital Poonch and other 15 Injured were given First aid at the Rashtriya Rifles Battalion MI room and were later transferred to the Poonch civil hospital. |
