Jammu, May 3: Chief Enforcement Officers and other field staff of Enforcement Wing on the directions of Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation, Kiran Wattal conducted an extensive anti-encroachment drive vigorously and undertook the following actions in the different areas falling within the jurisdiction of Jammu Municipal Corporation.
The team demolished the unauthorized construction of Afzal Shah at Mohalla Baba Jeevan Shah, raised by encroaching part of the lane.
The team also demolished the fabricated bridge over the nallah raised by Ashok Kumar Gupta Prop Diamond Hotel R/o Rani Mandir, Jammu by encroaching the road and nallah.
Besides this, the team also removed the encroachments from footpaths /pavements at Indira Chowk, Jammu and seized the articles/goods displayed on footpath by the shopkeepers. The drive has been conducted with the help of police force from Police Station Peer Mitha, Nawabad Police Station and District Police Lines, Jammu. |
