Jammu, May 13: A shopkeeper was found dead mysteriously at his residence at Bajalta in Shidra Chowk with marked injury marks on his body.
The deceased has been identified namely as Zahid Bhatti, s/o Anayat Bhatti a resident of Bajalta. Acting on the information, police reached on the spot and after taking custody of body besides collecting some circumstantial evidences and shifted the body to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) for post mortem.
The family of the deceased claimed that Zahid Bhatti was suffering from some chronic illness from long time. However, police maintained that the body bore injury marks, which raises suspicion. The police has registered a case and started investigation in this regard. |
