Little students at 'Pahal' rejoice their teacher's passing
Constrains fail to deter her determination

jammu, May 13 : When hundreds of students who passed their class 12 examination of the J&K Board of School Education were celebrating their performance in said examination to its sharp contrast tiny tots at 'Pahal' project were greeting their teacher Hema Jatwar who also made through the said examination with easy hands despite financial constrains. Not only the tiny tots at 'Pahal' project but her parents Bahadur Singh Jatwar and Sita Devi were also feeling on happiness after they received the news of making through of Class 12th by their daughter.
Their daughter was serving as teacher in a school run by Damodhar Udyog Satri Sanstha under Project Pahal has put all her best to pass Class XII examination in flying colours.Hema daughter of a mason, hailing from Chhattisgarh, has toiled hard to realize dream of her parents to attain education and further pledges to complete her graduation.
Hailing from a sleepy village Mudpar in Chhattisgarh Hema Jatwar started teaching slum children, majority of them hailing from Chhattisgarh, besides preparing for her Class 12 examinations. She attributed it to her elder sister Aarti and maintains that she (Aarti) is her inspiration. "She ( her sister) too was teaching in the same school before getting married, she recalls.
Accrediting her 'passing' to focused attention on the street children, Hema says regular teaching to tiny tots at Pahal helped her to hone her own skills and which helped her to pass her exam with flying colours. On Tuesday when the result was declared by the BOSE the examination authorities, Hema enrolled at Govt Higher Secondary School, Canal road, was thrilled when she came to know has passed the examination in first division. Meanwhile applauding her zeal and enthusiasm to continue studies, the founder of the Damodhar Satri Udyog Sanstha, Onkar Nath Chandra today announced that the organization would offer financial assistance to the girl for her higher education and also rewarded her with a token gift for her outstanding academic performance.
