| Aqib Shah criticizes BJP for raking up Art 370 | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 1: Describing BJP's recent ploy of raking up Article370 as a political gimmick foreseeing upcoming state assembly elections, Indian People Party (IPP) President Aqib Shah has described it as an attempt which has been made out of a desperate greed for power.
Criticizing Narendra Modi's lack of knowledge regarding Jammu and Kashmir, Shah said that BJP's dream of 44+ shall end up in a haunting nightmare.
Shah stated that IPP calls for an empirical approach towards Article 370 and the issue must be debated at great length with all stake-holders which also includes the betrayed masses of Jammu, Peer-Panchaal and Chenab belt who are'nt considered parties to this issue by Kashmir-centric forces like NC and PDP .
Shah said that BJP is misleading the people of Jammu province and is trying to exploit the religious sentiments by forcing people to identify Article 370 with a particular community. Shah said that B.J.P's claim of a transition in J&K's development if Article 370 is done away with is a funny claim and lacks legal, historical and political accumen. |
